Jamal Crawford has struggled of late, but he has always been considered a great clutch shooter and he proved why last night for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Crawford’s deep three with a minute left gave the Blazers a one-point lead at Golden State, and his two free throws with 43 seconds left provided the margin of victory for Portland in a 93-91 win at Golden State.
Love ’Em
1. Fighting Spirit
The Blazers had multiple chances to lie down and let this one get away from them, but they kept fighting. This was a game that was crucial to the team after being blown out at home by the lowly Wizards, and it is was great to see the team dig deep.
Even without their leader LaMarcus Aldridge, the Trailblazers found an answer in this one.
2. Jamal Crawford
Crawford buried the biggest shot of the game, and he took great care of the basketball as well. He dished out six assists while turning it over only once. If Jamal Crawford can be that good of a distributor he can make this team much better.
3. Gerald Wallace
Gerald Wallace has been a major bright spot for this team of late. Last night he finished with 24 points and six rebounds. He knocked down all four of his three-point attempts.
Wallace is a great slasher, so if he is knocking down the three-ball he is nearly impossible to guard.

Hate ’Em
1. Matthews and Felton
While Crawford turned it around last night, Wesley Matthews and Raymond Felton stayed in their funk. The two combined to shoot 8 for 27 from the floor. The Blazers need their backcourt to become more reliable.
2. Low Post Defense
Last night’s game was a perfect example of how much the Blazers miss LaMarcus Aldridge.
David Lee dominated in the post last night because of the lack of depth in the frontcourt for Portland.
Lee racked up 29 points and 11 boards.
The Blazers will complete their difficult back-to-back-to-back scheduling spot tonight with a tough game at home against the Clippers.
They’ll likely be without Aldridge again, so it will be a battle to stop Blake Griffin and company.
